Chester Spin & Win — terms and conditions

Daily pool. A voucher pool of R100 000 (incl VAT) is released each day at 06:00 SAST. Once the day’s pool is fully issued the game closes until 06:00 the following day. The live progress bar on site is the authoritative record of the day’s remaining pool.

Who may play. Natural persons aged 18 or older, resident in South Africa, holding a valid South African identity number. One entry per identity number per 48-hour period. Directors, employees and agents of Chester Butcheries and their immediate families are excluded.

Every spin wins. While the daily pool is open, every valid entry receives a voucher between R5 and R200. The value is determined at the moment of the spin by a random weighted draw; smaller values occur more often than larger ones. No entry fee and no purchase is required.

Delivery. Vouchers are delivered by SMS to the cellphone number captured at entry, normally within one minute and at most 15 minutes. If nothing arrives within 15 minutes, email stokvel@chestersa.com quoting your ID number. Chester is not responsible for numbers captured incorrectly by the entrant.

Redemption. Vouchers are valid for 48 hours from the time of issue, redeemable once at any till in any Chester store. No minimum basket spend. Vouchers are not exchangeable for cash, no change is given, and unspent value is forfeited. Lapsed vouchers cannot be re-issued.

Personal information. Name, surname, identity number and cellphone number are collected for the sole purposes of verifying eligibility, preventing duplicate entries and delivering the voucher. Information is processed in terms of POPIA, is not sold or shared for marketing without separate consent, and is deleted 90 days after the promotion ends.

Fair play. Entries using false details, another person’s identity number, automated tools or multiple devices to defeat the 48-hour rule are void and the associated vouchers cancelled without notice.

General. Chester may suspend or amend this promotion at any time for technical or operational reasons. Chester’s decision on all matters is final and no correspondence will be entered into. This promotion is conducted under the Consumer Protection Act 68 of 2008.
